Return & Refund Policy

RV Power Essentials LLC wants every direct purchase to be handled clearly and fairly. Please review the return and refund policy below before sending any item back.

1. Direct Orders vs. Third-Party Retailer Purchases

This Return & Refund Policy applies only to products purchased directly through RVPowerEssentials.com.

Some product recommendations on our site may be marked “View on Amazon” or may direct you to a third-party retailer. For those purchases, returns, exchanges, refunds, warranties, shipping issues, and customer service are handled by the third-party retailer according to that retailer’s own policies.

2. 30-Day Return Window

For eligible direct purchases, you may request a return within 30 days after receiving your item.

To be eligible for return, the item must generally be:

  • In the same condition you received it
  • Unused, uninstalled, and not permanently mounted
  • Free from damage, misuse, modification, missing parts, or signs of improper handling
  • Returned with all original packaging, manuals, accessories, tags, cords, chargers, hardware, and included components
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order number or receipt

3. Power Equipment, Batteries, Generators, and Electrical Products

Because RV power products can involve batteries, chargers, generators, electrical connections, solar equipment, inverters, surge protection, and other safety-sensitive gear, return eligibility may depend on the product condition and whether it has been used, installed, fueled, charged, modified, or damaged.

Products that show signs of installation, permanent mounting, misuse, electrical damage, physical damage, missing parts, fuel/oil exposure, water exposure, or unsafe handling may not be eligible for return.

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, contact us before attempting to return it.

4. How to Start a Return

You must contact us before sending any item back. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

  • Include your order number, name, email address, item name, and reason for the return request
  • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, include clear photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, and issue
  • Wait for return approval and instructions before shipping anything back

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and, when applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.

5. Return Shipping

For eligible and approved direct returns, RV Power Essentials provides return shipping instructions and, when applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.

  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect direct orders: If the issue is confirmed, RV Power Essentials will cover return shipping or provide another resolution, such as a replacement, refund, or supplier/manufacturer support.
  • Customer preference returns: If the item is approved for return within the 30-day return window and meets the eligibility requirements above, RV Power Essentials will provide return instructions and, when applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.
  • Large, heavy, oversized, or regulated items: Return shipping may require special handling, carrier coordination, original packaging, or additional review before approval.

Do not ship items back to a business address or mailing address unless we specifically provide that return destination in your return instructions. Some returns may need to go directly to a supplier, warehouse, or carrier-designated location.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, missing parts, or not what you ordered, contact us promptly at Info@RVPowerEssentials.com.

To help us resolve the issue, include your order number and photos of:

  • The outside shipping box
  • The shipping label
  • Interior packaging
  • The damaged, defective, or incorrect item
  • Any visible model number, serial number, or product label, if applicable

Please keep all original packaging and items until the issue is resolved, as the carrier, supplier, or manufacturer may require inspection.

7. Non-Returnable or Restricted Items

Some items may not be eligible for return depending on product type, condition, safety considerations, supplier restrictions, or carrier rules.

Non-returnable or restricted items may include:

  • Items that are specifically marked non-returnable on the product page, if applicable
  • Gift cards
  • Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products
  • Used, installed, modified, damaged, or incomplete products
  • Products missing original packaging, manuals, accessories, cords, hardware, or included components
  • Certain batteries, battery-related products, power equipment, fuel-related products, oversized items, or regulated items subject to supplier or carrier return restrictions
  • Products that cannot be safely returned due to use, contamination, exposure, or condition

If an item has product-specific return restrictions, we aim to note those restrictions on the product page when applicable.

8. Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges for every product. The fastest way to replace an item may be to return the eligible item first and place a separate order for the new product once the return is approved.

For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we may offer a replacement, refund, or another resolution depending on product availability and the nature of the issue.

9. Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

  • If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after approval.
  • Your bank, credit card company, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
  • Original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees, and handling fees are not refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed RV Power Essentials error, defective item, incorrect item, or damaged shipment.

10. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel a direct order, contact us as soon as possible at Info@RVPowerEssentials.com.

We will attempt to cancel the order if it has not yet been processed, shipped, or submitted to a supplier for fulfillment. Once an order has entered processing, shipped, or been submitted for fulfillment, cancellation may no longer be available.

11. Warranties and Manufacturer Support

Some products may include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms, coverage, registration, replacement parts, repair eligibility, and warranty service are controlled by the manufacturer.

RV Power Essentials may help direct you to the appropriate manufacturer or supplier support path when available, but manufacturer warranty decisions are handled according to the manufacturer’s own policies.
